Corn Tortilla with Flower Petals Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Masa flour
  • 4 tsp. Salt
  • Water (cold)
  • Edible flower petals

Method

  1. Take a mixing bowl and combine the flour and salt.
  2. Then pour in the water gradually while stirring gently.
  3. Knead the mixture into a soft elastic dough.
  4. Create equal sized balls of dough, which you then flatten with a rolling pin.
  5. Sprinkle the tops of the tortillas with your flower petals and roll them into place.
  6. Heat a griddle and cook the tortillas on both sides, flipping them every minute or so.
