Pan Fried Calamari Rings Recipe
Ingredients
- 16 oz. Squid rings
- 6 oz. Japanese bread crumbs
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
- 3 Eggs
- Cooking oil
Method
- Take a medium sized bowl and combine the salt, cayenne pepper and flour.
- Break the eggs into another bowl and beat them together.
- Place the breadcrumbs on a plate.
- Roll the calamari rings through the flour mix, then dip into the eggs.
- Now dredge through the breadcrumbs until totally covered.
- Heat a skillet with a little oil over a steady heat.
- Drop the calamari into the skillet and fry them until golden brown.
- Serve with a selection of your favourite dipping sauces.
