Deep Fried Squid Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lb. Squid
- 2 cups Plain flour
- 3 tbl. Olive oil
- 1 can Beer
- 2 Egg yolks
- Salt
- Pepper
- Lemon wedges
Method
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the beer, egg yolks, salt, pepper, plain flour and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Then roll the squid through flour, coating on all sides well.
- Heat a deep frier to about 350°F.
- Now dip the squid into the beer batter, coating well.
- Deep fry the battered squid for about 3 minutes until they turn golden brown.
- Serve on plates garnished with lemon wedges and crusty bread.
