Shrimp served with Wild Rice Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Shrimp
- 1 1/2 cup White wine
- 2 tbl. Parsley (chopped)
- 2 pkg. Wild long grain rice
- 1 Green pepper
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1 dash Curry
- 1 dash Dill
- 1 dash Oregano
- 1 dash Thyme
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
- Garlic powder
Method
- Sauté the pepper and onion in a frying pan over a steady heat.
- Then add the shrimp, lemon juice and spices.
- Cook the ingredients through until the shrimp goes pink.
- Then add the white wine and reduce the heat.
- Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- While the shrimp cooks, cook the rice.
- Once the rice cooks, pour in the shrimp and wine mixture.
- Stir and garnish with a few lemon or lime slices.
