Shrimp Jambalaya Style with Wild Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Shrimp
  • 1 lb. Oysters
  • 1 cup Wild rice
  • 1 can Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbl. Basil (chopped)
  • 1 tsp. Gumbo file
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • Seasoning

Method

  1. Butter a casserole dish and pour in 1 cup of cold water.
  2. Then add all the ingredients.
  3. Mix the ingredients so they spread out evenly.
  4. Cover the casserole.
  5. Cook in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 1 hour.
  6. Serve hot with a garnish of lemon slices.
