Shrimp Bisque Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Shrimp (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 tbl. Celery (chopped)
- 2 tbl. Onion (chopped)
- 2 tbl. Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Paprika
- 1 quart half and half
- Pepper
- Pparsley (chopped)
Method
- Take a large pan over a steady heat and cook through the onions and celery in the butter.
- Then add the flour and season to taste.
- While stirring, add the half and half.
- Stir until the mixture thickens.
- Add the chopped shrimp and cook until pink.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
