Soy Poached Salmon Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. Salmpn fillets
- 30 oz. Soy sauce
- 3/4 cup Dark brown sugar
- 2 tbl. Ginger (sliced)
- 1 Star arise
Method
- Sauté the soy sauce, brown sugar and star arise.
- Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to simmer.
- Add the salmon fillets (skin side down) and cover the pan.
- After about 8 minutes, remove the fillets and keep warm.
- Reduce the liquid by half and spoon over the salmon.
