Lemon Grilled Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. Salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 3 tbl. Vegetable oil
  • 3 tbl. Chicken broth
  • 3 tbl. Soy sauce
  • 2 tbl. Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. Dill
  • 1 tsp. Lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground pepper
  • 2 Garlic cloves (crusged)
  • 2 Onions (sliced)
  • 1 Lemon (sliced)

Method

  1. Place the salmon in a bowl and sprinkle over the dill and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. In another mixing bowl, combine the vegetable oil, chicken broth, lemon juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and lemon peel.
  3. Once well combined pour the mixture over the salmon.
  4. Cover the bowl and refridgerate overnight.
  5. Lift the salmon fillets onto a heated grill and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Then lift off the grill and place the lemon slices on the other side.
  7. Place back onto the grill, lemon slices down and cook for a further 5 minutes.
  8. Serve immediately with a garnish of lemon.
