Herb Marinated Broiled Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. Salmon steaks
  • 1/4 cup White wine
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1 tbl. Dried summer savory
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Ground black pepper
  • 1 Shallot (minced)
  • 1 Lemon (juiced)

Method

  1. Take a small bowl and combine the olive oil, white wine, shallot, summer savory, salt, pepper and 1/2 the basil.
  2. Lay out the salmon steaks on a baking tray.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the salmon steaks.
  4. Cover and refridgerate overnight to marinade.
  5. Place the salmon steaks in a preheated broiler and cook for about 13 minutes.
  6. Garnish with lemon juice and the rest of the basil
  7. Serve hot with a side salad.
