Barbecued (BBQ) Salmon with Herb Mayonnaise Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Salmon fillets
  • 1/3 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbl. Lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. Basil (chopped)
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

Method

  1. Wash out the salmon fillets well with water and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Place the salmon fillets into a well greased baking dish.
  3. Combine the lime juice, mayonnaise, basil, salt and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the herb mixture over the top of the salmon fillets.
  5. Sprinkle them lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminium foil.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated at 350°F for about 7 minutes.
  8. Transfer the fillets to serving plates and garnish with lemon wedges before serving.
