Mexican Tequila Prawns Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. Prawns (peeled / deveined)
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Tequila
  • 2 tbl. Butter (unsalted)
  • 4 Garlic cloves (crushed)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Heat a skillet over a medium steady heat.
  2. Melt the butter, add the garlic and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Now drop the prawns into the skillet and sauté until brown.
  4. Add the cilantro, salt, pepper and pour in the tequila.
  5. Cook for a further 2 minutes.
  6. Place on serving plates and garnish with lemon wedges.
