King Prawns with Thai Style Banana Salsa Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. Tiger prawns (peeled / deveined)
- 1/2 cup Min leaves
- 1/2 cup Cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup Lime juice
- 1 tbl. Brown sugar
- 1 tbl. Fish sauce
- 1 tsp. Ginger root (grated)
- 2 Cucumbers (peeled / seeded / diced)
- 2 Bananas (peeled / sliced)
- 1 Red chilli pepper (sliced)
Method
- Combine the cucumber, banana, cilantro leaves, mint leaves and red chilli pepper in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl combine the fish sauce, lime juice and brown sugar.
- Heat a large saucepan filled with salted water and bring to the boil.
- Cook the prawns in the water for 3 minutes.
- Serve the prawns on a serving plate.
- Garnish with the salsa.
