Barbecued (BBQ) Garlic Prawns Recipe

Ingredients

  • 30 Tiger prawns (peeled / deveined)
  • 1/2 cup Olive oil
  • 2 tbl. White wine
  • 1 tbl. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. Basil (dried)
  • 3 Garlic cloves (crushed)
  • 1 Orange (juiced)

Method

  1. Take a small mixing bowl and combine the garlic, mustard and olive oil.
  2. Then stir in the orange juice, lemon juice, white wine and basil.
  3. Drop in the prawns and cover them completely.
  4. Cover the bowl and refridgerate for an hour.
  5. Now fire up your barbecue and get it smoking.
  6. Skewer the prawns.
  7. Drop on the grill for about 5 minutes and keep turning them over.
  8. Serve piping hot and garnish with lemon wedges.
