Scalloped Oysters Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups Oysters (reserve liquid)
- 1 1/2 cup Croutons
- 1 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- 2/3 cup Cream
- 1/4 cup Celery (chopped)
- 2 tbl. Parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. Pepper
Method
- Take a large casserole.
- Add the bread crumbs, oysters, salt, pepper, celery, parsley and cream.
- Stir the ingredients well to mix.
- Place in a microwave at a high heat for 12 minutes.
- Take out and sprinkle the top with croutons.
- Place back into the microwave for a further 2 minutes.
- Serve with a garnish of lemons and chopped parsley.
