Poached Oysters in White Wine Recipe
Ingredients
- 16 Oysters (shucked)
- 6 oz. White wine
- 2 oz. Lemon juice
- 2 oz. Olive oil
- 1 tsp. Parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. Thyme (dried)
- 1/4 tsp. Chervil (dried)
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
- 1/4 tsp. White pepper
- 1 Garlic clove (crushed)
Method
- Take a large saucepan over a steady heat.
- Add the oysters, white wine, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, white pepper, thyme, chervil, parsley and garlic.
- Bring to a boil.
- Once the oysters are cooked through, remove the crushed garlic clove.
- Serve hot!
