Poached Oysters in White Wine Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 Oysters (shucked)
  • 6 oz. White wine
  • 2 oz. Lemon juice
  • 2 oz. Olive oil
  • 1 tsp. Parsley (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp. Thyme (dried)
  • 1/4 tsp. Chervil (dried)
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. White pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove (crushed)

Method

  1. Take a large saucepan over a steady heat.
  2. Add the oysters, white wine, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, white pepper, thyme, chervil, parsley and garlic.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Once the oysters are cooked through, remove the crushed garlic clove.
  5. Serve hot!
