Pan Fried Oysters with Bacon Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 Oysters (shelled)
- 2/3 cup Onions (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Stock
- 3 tbl. Oil
- 1 tbl. Cornstarch
- 1 tbl. Water
- 1/2 tsp. Soy sauce
- 3 Bacon slices
- 1 Egg
Method
- Cut each bacon strip into 4 equally sized pieces.
- Wrap each oyster with a piece of bacon.
- Take a mxing bowl and combine the water and egg.
- Dip the oyster wraps in the egg mixture.
- In another mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch, stock and soy sauce.
- Take a skillet and sauté the oysters until both sides are brown.
- Drain any excess fat off with paper towels.
- Add the chopped onions and fry until translucent.
- Add the cornstarch mixture and stir.
- Simmer for a minute or two.
- Serve hot, garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
