Oysters with Melted Parmesan Cheese Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 Oysters (shucked)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp. Mustard (dry)
  • Sour cream
  • Rock salt

Method

  1. Make a layer of rock salt on a large baking tray.
  2. Split the shells in half.
  3. Place the shells into the layer of rock salt.
  4. Spoon a teaspoon of sour cream onto each oyster.
  5. Combine the cheese, bread crumbs, butter and dry mustard.
  6. Scoop about 2 tablespoons over each oyster.
  7. Place under a grill for about 5 minutes until the cheese mixture goes brown.
