Oysters with Melted Parmesan Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 Oysters (shucked)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup Butter (melted)
- 1/2 tsp. Mustard (dry)
- Sour cream
- Rock salt
Method
- Make a layer of rock salt on a large baking tray.
- Split the shells in half.
- Place the shells into the layer of rock salt.
- Spoon a teaspoon of sour cream onto each oyster.
- Combine the cheese, bread crumbs, butter and dry mustard.
- Scoop about 2 tablespoons over each oyster.
- Place under a grill for about 5 minutes until the cheese mixture goes brown.
