Oysters Thomas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 Oysters (shucked)
  • 1 lb. Crab meat
  • 1/4 cup Bread crumbs
  • Lemon wedges
  • Parsley (chopped)
  • Rock salt
  • Bearnaise sauce
  • Cream sauce
  • Paprika

Method

  1. Make a layer of rock salt on the base of a large baking tray.
  2. Place the shucked oyster shells on the rock salt.
  3. Spoon in some bearnaise sauce into the empty shells.
  4. Then place the oysters back in.
  5. Spoon in some crab meat on top of each oyster.
  6. Sprinkle generously with bread crumbs and paprika.
  7. Bake in an oven preheated to 400°F for about 15 minutes until brown.
  8. Garnish with lemon and parsley before serving.
