Oysters served with Caviar Recipe
Ingredients
- 24 Oysters (with shells)
- 3/4 cup Heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Dry sherry
- 3 tbl. Black caviar
- 2 tbl. Flour
- 2 tbl. Butter
- 1/8 tsp. White pepper
- Scallions (chopped)
- Parsley (chopped)
- Lemon wedges
Method
- Take a heavy saucepan and melt the butter until bubbling.
- Add the flour, stir and cook for about 5 minutes.
- While stirring, add the cream, sherry, pepper and cheese.
- Then add the caviar, simmer for a minute and lift off the heat.
- Place the oysters on a baking tray and cover with the sauce.
- Sprinkle them generously with parmesan cheese.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 400°F for about 6 minutes until they are golden brown.
- Serve on plates garnished with lemon wedges, scallions and parsley.
