Deep Fried Oysters Cesenatico Recipe

Ingredients

  • 24 Oysters (shucked)
  • 2 cups Olive oil
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Flour
  • 4 Egg whites (whipped)
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg

Method

  1. Place the oysters in the milk.
  2. Then roll all the oysters through the flour.
  3. Then put all the oysters through the egg whites.
  4. Remove and shake off any excess then dredge in the bread crumbs.
  5. Place the oysters in a deep frier at 365° and fry until brown.
  6. Remove and place the fried oysters back into their shells, which have been warmed.
  7. Serve immediately.
