Deep Fried Oysters Cesenatico Recipe
Ingredients
- 24 Oysters (shucked)
- 2 cups Olive oil
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup Flour
- 4 Egg whites (whipped)
- Pepper
- Nutmeg
Method
- Place the oysters in the milk.
- Then roll all the oysters through the flour.
- Then put all the oysters through the egg whites.
- Remove and shake off any excess then dredge in the bread crumbs.
- Place the oysters in a deep frier at 365° and fry until brown.
- Remove and place the fried oysters back into their shells, which have been warmed.
- Serve immediately.
