Cajun Style Baked Oysters Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Celery
  • 2 cups Bread crumbs (toasted)
  • 1 cup Oyster juice
  • 1 pint Oysters (chopped)
  • 1/4 lb. Butter
  • 4 Eggs (boiled / grated)
  • Parsley

Method

  1. Melt the butter, onion and celery in a pan and cook onions until tender.
  2. Add the chopped oysters and oyster juice and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Lift off the heat and mix with the bread crumbs, parsley and bread crumbs.
  4. Then add the salt, pepper and sprinkle with oyster juice.
  5. Put the mixture into oyster shells and brush over with butter.
  6. Cook in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 20 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and garnish with lemon slices.
