Cajun Style Baked Oysters Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups Celery
- 2 cups Bread crumbs (toasted)
- 1 cup Oyster juice
- 1 pint Oysters (chopped)
- 1/4 lb. Butter
- 4 Eggs (boiled / grated)
- Parsley
Method
- Melt the butter, onion and celery in a pan and cook onions until tender.
- Add the chopped oysters and oyster juice and cook for 5 minutes.
- Lift off the heat and mix with the bread crumbs, parsley and bread crumbs.
- Then add the salt, pepper and sprinkle with oyster juice.
- Put the mixture into oyster shells and brush over with butter.
- Cook in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 20 minutes.
- Serve hot and garnish with lemon slices.
