Batter Fried Oysters Recipe
Ingredients
- 30 Oysters (drained)
- 1 1/2 cup Flour
- 2 tbl. Water
- 1 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. Cayenne
- 2 Eggs
- Vegetable oil
- Horseradish sauce
Method
- Preheat oil in a deep frier to 375°F.
- Combine the horseradish sauce, eggs, water, flour, pepper, cayenne and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Roll the oysters through the mixture.
- Place the oysters on a baking sheet and allow to sit for a few minutes.
- Then drop the oysters into the deep frier for about 3 minutes.
- Lift out and dry with kitchen roll.
- Serve immediately.
