Simple Steamed Mussels Recipe
Ingredients
- 10 lb. Mussels (cleaned)
- 1 Garlic clove (crushed)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
Method
- Drop the cleaned mussels into a large cooking pot.
- Add the chopped onions and crushed garlic over the mussels.
- Sprinkle with a tiny little bit of water.
- Cover the pot and cook over a high heat until all the mussels are open.
- If you see any that do not open, throw them away.
- Serve with a garnish of lemon juice and chopped parsley.
