Deep Fried Catfish Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lb. Catfish fillets
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Pepper
Method
- First, heat a deep frier to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the salt, pepper and flour.
- Dredge the catfish fillets through the flour mixture, covering all sides.
- Then dip the fillets in the beaten eggs.
- Now roll through the breadcrumbs, covering the fillets completely.
- Drop the bread crumbed fillets into the deep frier and fry until golden brown.
- Lift out onto paper towels and dry off excess fat before serving.
