Cajun Fried Catfish Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Catfish fillets
- 3/4 cup Yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
- Vegetable oil
Method
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the flour, cayenne pepper, salt and garlic powder with the cornmeal.
- Then dredge the catfish through the mixture, coating the fillets all over.
- Shake off any excess.
- Heat a skillet with a little oil over a steady heat.
- Add the coated fillets to the skillet.
- Fry them until they are golden brown.
- Serve with a garnish of lemon wedges and a sprinkling of parsley.
