Broiled Catfish Steaks Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. Catfish steaks
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. Dill (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Worchestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. Paprika
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Lemon wedges
  • Dill

Method

  1. Rinse off the catfish steaks under cold running water.
  2. Lift onto paper towels and pat dry.
  3. Take a mixing bowl to combine the tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, chopped dill, paprika, pepper, worchestershire sauce and vegetable oil.
  4. Coat one side of each catfish steak with the mixture.
  5. After adding a little oil to the broiler, cook the catfish steaks.
  6. Turn over once cooked, cover the side with the sauce and broil for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve on a plate with a garnish of lemon wedges and dill.
