Baked Catfish with Soy and Ginger Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Catfish fillets
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 tbl. Rice vinegar
- 1 tbl. Soy sauce
- 1 tsp. Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. Ground red pepper
- 3 Onions (chopped)
- 1 Ginger root (peeled)
Method
- Place the catfish fillets into a baking tray and add 1/4 cup of chicken broth.
- Sprinkle the catfish with green onions and red pepper.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 450°F for 15 minutes.
- While the catfish is cooking, prepare the sauce.
- Take a skillet and fry the remaining onion and ginger until golden brown.
- Pour in the rice vinegar, soy sauce and water into the skillet and bring to the boil.
- Pour the sauce over the catfish.
- Bake for a further 5 minutes and serve.
