Baked Catfish with Pecans Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lb. Catfish fillets
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Pecans (chopped)
- 1 tbl. Worchestershire sauce
- 1 tbl. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Lemon rind (grated)
Method
- Take a mixing bowl and combine the butter, lemon juice, Worchestershire sauce and chopped pecans.
- Pour into a food processor and blend well.
- In another mixing bowl combine the salt, pepper, lemon rind and flour.
- Roll the catfish fillets through the mixture.
- Melt some butter in a large skillet.
- Cook the fillets until they are brown on both sides.
- Lift out of the skillet and place in a greased baking tray.
- Sprinkle the fillets with the pecan butter sauce.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 15 minutes.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.
