Baked Catfish with Pecans Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Catfish fillets
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Pecans (chopped)
  • 1 tbl. Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 tbl. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Lemon rind (grated)

Method

  1. Take a mixing bowl and combine the butter, lemon juice, Worchestershire sauce and chopped pecans.
  2. Pour into a food processor and blend well.
  3. In another mixing bowl combine the salt, pepper, lemon rind and flour.
  4. Roll the catfish fillets through the mixture.
  5. Melt some butter in a large skillet.
  6. Cook the fillets until they are brown on both sides.
  7. Lift out of the skillet and place in a greased baking tray.
  8. Sprinkle the fillets with the pecan butter sauce.
  9. Bake in an oven preheated to 350°F for about 15 minutes.
  10. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.
